@lupyuen when my server breaks because Canonical decided to force yet another "convenience" on me because they know best, ignoring the wishes of the entire community, of course i'll be rude, along with the rest of us
@lupyuen i disagree that it's pointless, Gnome and Canonical control a fairly large marketshare and are shaping the experience for a lot of us through force. A lot of the complaints are very much justified and you can't "just use what you like", when a well funded corpo like Canonical forces the adoption of Snap by ruining native repositories to the point adjacent distros have to actively diverge and lose their support. Or when Gnome removes capabilities from the toolkits the majority use
