@lupyuen I think it would have been better to use the terminology "tiling window manager". Because there are non tiling window managers like OpenBox and Fluxbox, plus every desktop environment comes with a window manager preinstalled anyway (Kwin and Mutter in example). You can even change the window manager from KDE (Kwin) with i3 in example.
