@grbenny @magicaltrout Started on French horn, but moved to EPiano when they went on tour. Graham and Ian Brierton were on bass and drums. They went on to perform with several international acts including Barry Manilow (after he stopped playing pop tunes and switched to straight-ahead jazz).

@muz4now @grbenny@mastodon.world interesting, yeah its all grades, I did 1-4 as classical grades then did grade 5 as a Jazz grade, but they were certainly called grades.
@magicaltrout @grbenny Cool. Do they call it “grade”? When I lived in Glasgow, they were all “levels”.
