@grbenny @magicaltrout Started on French horn, but moved to EPiano when they went on tour. Graham and Ian Brierton were on bass and drums. They went on to perform with several international acts including Barry Manilow (after he stopped playing pop tunes and switched to straight-ahead jazz).

@muz4now @grbenny@mastodon.world I played clarinet for a number of years, in the Scarborough area Junior Concert Band and intermediate jazz band Jazz Train but after Grade 5 you have to start trying a bit harder in the exams so I swapped over to bass guitar 😄
@magicaltrout @grbenny Cool. Do they call it “grade”? When I lived in Glasgow, they were all “levels”.
