Is it jut me that still emails pictures to themselves as I've not worked out a quicker way to get them from phone to desktop? 😒

@jadp Yeah, its not like the requirement is new. I just feel like there should be some form of cross mobile OS, cross desktop OS method of doing this that just works.
@magicaltrout compatibility among OS types has always been an issue. A mobile sftp would be nice with a UX like in shows: I point my phone at a target — your phone, a desktop/laptop, server, TV monitor, whatever, and swipe the file, photo, contact card, website, etc up and away and it is transferred. Easy peasy
@magicaltrout true, both me being old 👴🏼 and being able to transfer over a personal area network [as we called it back in the day]. Even Palm could do this over BT PAN
