If you're going to unsubscribe from the Washington Post this weekend for the conduct of Jeff Bezos, I encourage you to consider redirecting that money to a different newspaper—local or national— rather than taking the money out of journalism entirely <3
@natematias well, I cancelled mine about 5 minutes ago. Been 20yrs, so I'm really not sure where to go. I cut the NYT off at some point in the Trump Administration after an endless number of both-sides articles.

@coldfish @natematias some amazing journalism is not paywalled, yet still accepting donations. Beyond the other great examples mentioned here, consider also the Guardian. Hardly qualifies as local though.
