I am left-handed. And I honestly tell you, that I really tried to be right-handed while growing up. (I can write with my right-hand because I forced myself during high-school) But i switched back to writing with my left. Other things I didn't even try to change, I punch & kick with my left, chopsticks on my left, etc. Because it felt so natural to me. But I still find it hard to believe that there are genetic predespositions and brain differences for lefties, even after reading this article. bbc.com/news/health-49579810

@metapsyche Mostly a Leftie here too. Some things I do with my right hand (like opening some doors).

For 'fun', I've decided to try eating using chopsticks with my right hand too. Still a work in progress: my right hand is definitely weaker and not as coordinated as my left hand while eating.
