@mguhlin @EduMatch Hammond’s book was our middle school teacher read a summer ago. We are still referencing it frequently at faculty meetings. Powerful ideas that we are working to implement.

@brasst @EduMatch Agreed, it is such a powerful book. Not only because it addresses the power of schema (teaching with culture in mind), but because it pairs it with high-effect sized instructional strategies and what we know about the brain.
