How tf do people morally reconcile their options if they get COVID while traveling? 💀

I'm stuck in Seattle. already lost out on all the expensive conference-value I flew here to get; lost out on all the spoons i expended on making this stupid trip _happen_ in the first place. ugh. and i feel like death. okay, great, whatever.

but i've _also_ got tight timelines on my next two stops? and i just realized that there's no way i'm not-still-infectious for my plane flight in, uh, two days.

what the hell do people fucking do? throw away any and all constraints/plans, spend thousands of dollars, non-reimbursed-by-work, to extend their hotel-stay and make a last-minute flight-change, so they can hopefully be less infectious when they climb on a plane with hundreds of poor innocent people?

or do you just mask up and slink onboard, feeling horrible about all the people you're probably going to infect????
