All of a sudden I feel "I NEED to learn #golang right now. In fact, I'm already behind. I SHOULD know this. Or else..."

Why does this happen? I have no need to know Go. I will probably never use it.

Is this the same in other professions? Will a baker all of a sudden just go; "But barbecuing fish?! I don't know about this! I need to know about it now."

These relapses and sudden urges are of course what have driven me forward, but it's also stressing me a bit.

Anyone else recognize this?

Think about the time you will need to embed barbecued fish in your bread
