Y’know, I really wanted to like #kbin and #lemmy, but it really is as toxic as Reddit. At least the gaming coms/mags are.

It would be nice to find a gaming community that’s not infected with assholes, but I feel like that’s asking too much, because Gamers are the worst.

@stopthatgirl7 yeah I am finding it more effective for activism than Mastodon but It is toxic and very loosely moderated. One post I shared there talked about KOSA as harmful to LGBTAIQ2S+ communities. Good news: 30 comments, people are engaged! Bad news: 28 of them were hostile comments about “LGBTAIQ2S+” and responses from me and @spaduf. Although, at least one person learned that 2S does not in fact refer to furries, so at least there was some education. But still.

Kosa is bad for everyone (though, yes, it would be bad for those communities).
