@KazuShuSora https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrace,_extend,_and_extinguish Not afraid of Embrace, Extend, Extinguish?
@mima @KazuShuSora I don't think I suggested doing that (although, whether to do so, or not to do so, seem to be a point of division around here). Interesting how Facebook divides people without even arriving.
But, it's still pretty ominous.
@olives@qoto.org Welp, I've been seeing plenty of paranoid people flaming others for simply not "doing the right thing" and announcing they're defederating the material one puts through a loom, that I've mistaken you for one. So I'm sorry for that. :mima_derp:

Well in kind of a way it did arrive now, just in a half-functional state. But yes the division is interesting indeed. To be quite honest I'd rather see people arguing passionately against each other on Threads (without the fediblock threats and nukes of course!) rather than the TBS drama and "dark fedi" shit I've been seeing in the past. :seija_coffee:@olives
To be honest?
Nope.
My bubble is here and they don't intend to go away.
To me the interoperability only has benefits.
Besides.. doesn't the fediverse stand for being open and accessible?
@olives@qoto.org Preemptive defederation or #fediblock will not prevent #EEE. Supporting your favorite #ActivityPub software's developers and specification writers who are not connected to Facebook, through any means you possibly can (especially financial), will.
Scorching the earth can only go so far.
