One other Mastodon-related question, what anime-related servers are active out there. I'm aware of urusai.social and sakurajima.moe and looking for any others I can try following the public feed of.
@anicasts I wouldn't recommend these two servers to use. There was an "anime culture war" vibe to them.
Generally though, accounts seem to be diffused across a bunch of general purpose servers. One account following an account from another server might help there.
There are "art instances" but these are not really "instances for talking about anime". There are also a few which might have quite a bit of drama.
@olives -nods head- Good to know. More-or-less, I'm experimenting with Phanpy to have a broader eye out on things so having columns for local or federated feeds of some of these sites seemed like something to try out. 
@anicasts Something which is likely to come up is that different servers might federate with more or less servers.
For instance, I think your server (and these two servers probably more so, I've seen people complain about them aggressively over-blocking) federate with fewer servers than even the one I am on does.
Then again, some servers might have some sort of drama to them. So, it's possible that there are servers which aren't that visible.
