Even though it looks early days, COSL is better than that "child protection" org which seemed like it would have been better off launching itself as an internet freedom org.
In the case of the latter, the guy was a more effective internet freedom advocate prior to launching the org (where he mainly did that anyway). I don't understand why he did that.
Since it's early days, and it's clearly under construction, I don't really have an opinion on the former. But, I'm aware it's there. I would prefer something more grass-roots than what this seems to be though.
