If you came here from Twitter, I recommend using twitodon.com to help you follow your Twitter friends who have already moved. Only works if they've used Twitodon as well, though, so worth checking back every now and then. Anyone have any other recommendations?

@reallyedbrown I'm still on Twitter, just arriving here. I don't use Twitter so much as a social place but as a kind of commentary and information stream. I use Twinbox so my Twitter feed arrives as if it is a desktop Outlook email in-box and I can delete, preserve, and respond from there. I don't think that and Mastodon are comparable in that respect. I do find Mastodon interesting.

@reallyedbrown I've commented elsewhere that this reminds me of RSS aggregators, but not so easy to manage. FeedDemon is my reference point.
