@peterdrake I’ve now seen one… but I was just reading that hashtags don’t necessarily propagate to smaller instances (and I think I’m on a small instance)
@PlaneSailingGames If my understanding is correct, a toot will only reach your instance if someone on your instance boosts it or follows the poster.
@peterdrake I wonder if the instance I'm on is too isolated, and I need to move to one closer to my interests.
It's a shame, because it undermines the promise of federation a little.
