Colorado has been trying this weird thing since 2017 - give unhoused people homes.

Intuitively, "giving people who are homeless a place to live, no strings attached, not only changes their lives but can save public money."

Two more housing complexes are being built (one opening next week) using this successful template, adding 100 units.

Mental health services, peer support specialists and case managers will be available to residents but not required.
