Finally finished my last talk proposal. Here's hoping that everyone else's talks are better than mine and I don't have to actually prepare a talk 😉

Two of my three proposals are for the Spanish language Charlas track. I have heard that they would very much appreciate more proposals, even from non-native speakers.

I am of two minds about giving a talk in Spanish, to be honest.

On the one hand it is a personal goal to be good enough in a foreign language to give a useful or interesting talk.

On the other hand, if I ever hear the recording I might die of embarrassment when I hear myself speaking Spanish, so....

@pganssle don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good enough! :-)

@feoh I guess I'll have to just imagine the unlikely scenario in which most of the people in the Spanish-speaking track of the English-language conference can empathize with feeling self conscious about your grammar and accent in a language that isn't your native language 😉
