During the summer, Hannah Haberkern and Shivam Chitnis from #HHMIJanelia published a preprint on #drosophila navigation, using #VR to simulate naturalistic visual environments:
Researchers in #neuroscience have been doing animal studies in virtual reality for more than two decades. But to someone from another field, it still seems amazing, especially when the equipment is tiny, for a participant the size of a fly.
