@phyu Unfortunately, private companies like Facebook are under no more of a requirement to advance free speech than any other company. It is nice when they do, of course, but ultimately Facebook's policies are about Facebook's bottom line.

If their clients (Advertisers) aren't happy seeing something, that thing will go away. Plain and simple.

@Surasanji The dude rarely posts anything hateful though; just donations to monks posts, his activities and military operations. There’re a lot of pages out there(from both sides) promoting hate speech than him. Well, fb can ban anyone controversial if they want to, it’s their platform but I’ve a feeling it’s not going to end well.

@phyu Maybe. I can't pretend to understand Facebook's moderation systems. I don't really use facebook.

@Surasanji I haven’t used fb since last December either. Their moderation system is pretty wobbly either way.
