@ghorwood Golang has a very easy to use multi-threading model, I've found. It's a pleasant language to work in after PHP and JS.
@pies i've done some fix work in golang before but have never written anything from scratch. it certainly wasn't a bad experience.
most of my thread experience is, like most people my age, from java. i wrote this insane chat server that was just a pile of threads and sockets in a trenchcoat and, although it was painful, it worked really well.
@ghorwood I've done very little Java myself, but the threading model was easy to use, in Java way :)
