@realcaseyrollins i can't even think of a hobby less interesting than video games. even sports are more dynamic and have more interesting lore despite being massively popular and watered down with consumerism.
@why It depends on the game. Some games have pretty good stories, others thrive on multiplayer experiences.

If I had to pick between gamer bashing and gaming, gaming is definitely the more interesting hobby
@realcaseyrollins the hobby is less interesting since all games fans are the same exact people who say the same words and do the same things and never have new thoughts. interesting hobbies have creativity, exploration, some real risk or self-improvement. interesting hobbies include: mountain biking, photography, brewing, anything with cars or cooking. vidya as a hobby is all consumption, it's like saying eating fast food is your hobby.
i made the first post as a self-dunk because im a really fucking boring person who only plays games and watches anime. i'm disappointed i have few other things to talk with normalfags about and it's keeping me from growing as a person as i remain in the downward spiral of sloth and gluttony

I don't think gaming makes you boring or slothful, just make sure you aren't neglecting responsibilities or self care (sleep, grooming, etc.) to enjoy what you love.
