The top story on HN once was some sort of "Every internets has to pay California sales tax if your internets is accessible from California" bill once. Just a fruitbat waving some paper that had no chance of making it out of subcommittee but there probably still exist people that think it's a law. I hear that thestreets of LA are a river of plague-infested shit, but I feel fairly certain that I would have noticed a river of sewage outside my door.
