Should one tell the person they block that they’re being blocked before they block them, or should they just say nothing and block? I know debating with trolls is unproductive, but is giving one last “you’re blocked” before disappearing better than just vanishing forever?

@stragu No, just block the person.
(If you really must, I very rarely block people. Oftentimes I only mute them.)

@stragu If you do that you might be accused of a "hit and run", saying something to someone and intentionally not giving them a chance to respond.
