those of you who are disabled (specifically I'm thinking of severe PTSD and fibromyalgia) but keep working full-time: what advice would you give to me?

i think what helped *me* the most so far is: whenever we need to rest, we go and rest. roommates? landlords? work? couriers? existing commitments? literal biblical flood? whatever, something surely can be done about them so that these wait until after we wake up

this results in sleeping _a lot_, like we slept through the entirety of Friday. not exaggerating, we woke up twice, to eat food roommate made, and then fell back asleep

and also it results in not constantly feeling like shit

@whitequark I don't consider myself disabled in any way, and think this is a good advice for people like me too: i find it easy to enter a positive feedback loop of undersleeping and finding it fine to take a nap ~whenever reduces the strength of the feedback significantly.
