Hats off - this could be titled “an anonymous court clerk ridicules crypto nerds” 😂 This picture has been published by a former #Poland senator Krzysztof Brejza who was illegally under #Pegasus surveillance under the former PiS government. Brejza later sued the government, who had recently introduced a system to randomly assign judges in order to avoid accusations of nepotism or corruption.

Please note the #random shuffling factor is implemented as you would do in a crypto textbook - large pseudo-random number (we could ask about its origins but okay) is then mapped onto the set of items, which happens to be four items long. This is because it picks up only judges with the lowest load but that’s a business requirement. Now the fun part: the list of four has the same name as three items. You don’t need to be a cryptography genius to figure what’s the most likely outcome 😂

So what is represented by the repetition count? Is it an intended weighing to compensate for something else or what?
