It is always slightly worrying when your doctor sends you a letter in the mail reminding you to get a routine screening on an organ you don't have.

@foone at one of my previous jobs a team had the task of generating a list of women who:
1 were born a woman
2 were not dead
3 did not have breast cancer
4 had contact detail
5 were older then 50

Even with full access to the national id database, all health insurance providers, and all hospitals, it was *really* difficult.

Point 1 especially, as when you change gender in Belgium *all* the information changes and there is no trace left of your old identity in the system.

Why care about point 1? I thought (and quick Google search seems to confirm) that breast cancer risk is affected by recent hormonal environment (as opposed to one that was around at some time during development). (Or did you mean that they wanted to include both women and transmen?)
