@f @jefframes It’s not Scratch’s fault, but it’s an unintended consequence that its overuse may be causing more harm than good, for some children, at least
@f @s_gruppetta well, she’s 7 so Scratch is a lot more accessible. It’s unlikely she’ll be sitting alone pouring over code, but with Scratch I think I can help her visualize and understand the basic concepts. At least that worked well with her older sister. It’ll be a few years before she’s ready for something more complex I think.

I think the ones my nephews loved the most were the games where the coding part was kind of hidden away. But I don’t think a lot of people understand how to do that 🙂
