Huh.
The Gen Zs I've met as workers and students were far more engaged and wanting do do a good job (not look as if they're doing a good job) than their Millennial counterparts.
I remember when Millennials started entering the workforce, their attitude was "fake it till you make it" and as some told the HRs at that company, it's not about working hard or doing your job well, but sucking up to the right people to get ahead (and that putting in effort was for losers).

@cardamomaddict hah, forgotten by who? not by millennials at least — i at least can testify as a millennial (i'm 40) that for people my age, gen x'ers were the cool older kids we wished we could be like
@sabbatical Lol. Yeah. That's really not the experience I or many of my colleagues have in the workplace.
@sabbatical You have to be noticed to be called a slacker. Gen X is the forgotten generation.
