I was actually surprised I didnt get some pushback from our users on the new instance tickers in our UI. Personally I love it but I expected a few people to complain. But literally everyone who registered an opinion said they loved it.
Though Rob is in the dark theme where it doesnt exist, so i guess he isnt a fan.
Ah, well, I rarely go to the federated feed. 🤷
@sda Understandable. For me its not about providing information that I cant find out, its about providing information that is useful to me at a glance. Its great to me being able to look at the federated feed coming in fast as lightening and know where the messages are coming from. Certain instances i pay more attention to than others so if i see a certain instance fly by im more likely to divert my attention.
