Has this opposition unity thingy ever worked?
I remember, while growing up, there was the third front in 2009. The results were very poor.

IMO The opposition coalition doesn't seems promising as of now, and if it doesn't works, it could very well backfire! Making the ruling party even bigger.
Also, the biggest risk isn't losing, but inside quarrel and exploding.

Yep - it has never worked. AAP emerged after fighting the congress and now they are joining hands with the congress against BJP. BJP already won when the the opposition unity thingy started.

I.N.D.I.A basically has gifted BJP the 2024 election, already. Just imagine CPIM Congress fighting against eachother in Kerala, AAP Congress in Punjab, Delhi. CPIM TMC in West Bengal. Then they're sharing the stage and boasting about fighting BJP and fascism and what not.
How idiotic.
