@lauren How's the wind over in them thar parts? Did it materialize?

@lauren Glad to hear it. NWS forecast showed 50 knots which is where things start breaking.

@shuttersparks There have been much stronger wind events within the last couple of years (Santa Ana events) so this wind was really no big deal. Absolutely the most rain we've had for quite a few years for sure but none of that low level snow that they were talking about materialized, etc. as far as I know and it never got terribly cold relative to normal lows this time of year here.

@lauren Glad to hear there was no damage. Snow must have been spotty. Someone posted a video of light snow on the ground at Venice Beach.

@shuttersparks Well, I didn't see any and I'm almost 1000 feet higher. There was some minor flooding due to drains being clogged up since so little rain in recent years. Snow above 2500-5000 feet at various times in the mountains and Grapevine closed but that's not unusual. At least the reservoirs are in much better shape this year -- the before and after photos from this season are amazing. But now we'll probably go another 10 years with hardly any rain again.
