I have several friends with Keurig coffee makers and we have one at the restaurant. The coffee is always weak and tasteless compared to drip brewed (Bunn). Even the "espresso" cartridges are equally weak -- weaker than ordinary coffee and nothing like the espresso I make at home. Is this just how it is or is there some trick to it? And why does everybody have one if it works so poorly? I'm puzzled.

@shuttersparks Probably a combination of the k-cups being pre-ground and ergo stale, combined with a higher water to coffee ratio than most other methods, especially if you’re pulling a larger brew. The best thing you could do is use the reusable k-cups, put freshly ground coffee in them, and use the smallest cup size. But even they it’s not going to be great as people use them not because they make good coffee but because it’s convenient.

@PKMKII So it's not just me being picky. Good. Lol.
