I am one of the few people who can say this: I have never been inside a Walmart. (The closest I got was in the garage area to pay for a tire repair in Boise.)
There is not much chance that I will break my steak.
@karlauerbach Wow. That's surprising. I've been a Walmart person for 20 years, but I too have not set foot in a Walmart for about 4 years. I use their delivery service. I order $250-300 worth of groceries and whatnot every week, delivered to my door. Worth every penny. Not to mention that more and more Walmart products are better than the name brands they carry.
@karlauerbach I love Costco! When in Florida I shopped there all the time. Here, the nearest one is too far away.
It was actually a fun outing for me. Eat a couple of hotdogs, then comb the entire store, resisting the urge to buy everything.
@shuttersparks We usually do big box stuff at Costco. Their customer service can be amazing. We had problems with a large new TV and they kind moved heaven, earth, stars to get things right.
We sometimes get an Amazon shipment that was shipped from Walmart!!
