Here's another pet language peeve of mine. When you want to refer to an established consensus fact in science or scholarship, don't call it "traditional". It's a laboriously established result that we have all agreed upon, not a type of knitted sweater.

@skalden That's sometimes true, but I also see people write this when they agree with "tradition".
