If I ever go back to visit USA, Imma getting 5 guys. They had good borgar. At least in '98.
@nerdman @coolboymew @kaia @rin There used to be (probably still is) a Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Jacksonville, FL, when I used to stay there in the summers in the early 2010’s. It’s the only one I remember trying, but it was awesome.
Awww, you mean the chain died? The one I had was in DC, close to the pentagon. That was back when I was getting my glow on.
@nerdman @coolboymew @kaia @rin it’s still around :) just not near me - I think the closest one to me is in Tulsa (I used to live in Tulsa but never ate at the Five Guys there). I did, however, eat way too much Whataburger when I lived there. If you haven’t tried Whataburger, I highly recommend it as well.
I'll try to remember. Lately I've been yearning good, non-home-made borgar and locally that's just not a thing.
@nerdman @coolboymew @kaia @rin I know what you mean there, I think there’s only like one really good burger stop in my hometown, and thankfully it is a locally-owned establishment and not a chain, so I feel good about supporting them versus going somewhere like McD’s.
