if i do more than 4 different activities in a single day, i feel completely discombobulated. getting my brain to go into a different gear takes at least 3 hours, and i think the gears are arranged linearly, with, for example, the "focusing and getting work done" and "socializing with other people" requiring about five or six gear changes to get from one to the other
@skells the elements???????
@jk if that's what it takes
find something you're interested in/give a damn about (you'll tap out if there's no intrinsic motivation) that requires you to do more than 4 things in a day/requires you to multitask or switch focus/be adaptable
if you can't find anything then it doesn't matter as long as nothing disrupts your current way of doing things
@jk then do the thing
@skells exposure to what
