Fun Fact XII: Less than 1% of ancient literature has survived. In the first volume of Greek Mythology, edited by Ioannis Kakrides, (5 volume compilation of all known Greek myths, in Greek), it lists ten pages of names and writers and titles of ancient mythological works and a summary of each. About 0.3 to 0.4% of that list has actually survived.
