That's, I think, it's what I think a frontend programmer should do. Not just simply send some request and display what backend gives you and call it a day, but rather spend sometime on UI and animation. That "wow" moment I got from that SCP work makes me kinda envy those frontend developers who can make that. That a really amazing work.

It's a beautiful work. I'm amazed how one can achieve such an incredible effect just use wikidot. But unfortunately, I can't understand the story. ...

Sometimes I will have a good mood and spend sometime to write a webUI for my project. But I will never call myself a frontend developer just because I can write a webpage.

The frontend development, IMO, requires some sense of human interacting thing, like how a human will normally interact with a web page and what visual feedback a general human expects to get. The visual and the interaction are the big things (and of course the coding, but it's a basic thing, right? You can properly code, right? RIGHT???)

Well, I generally hate some YouTube channel that claims you can become a frontend developer after doing something. And I especially hate some Chinese companies saying that you are a frontend developer after paying for their courses. No, you're not a developer just because you can code. You're a developer because you know how to do the thing in a right and beautiful way, even if the reality doesn't allow you.

(Of course, you can disagree with me, but do notice that I'm referring to myself as a realistic Idealist. I appreciate reality, but eventually I seek for ideals.)
