36C in door

It's so hot 🔥

The fan is blowing fire instead of wind...

@skyblond@qoto.org Yeah, when the outside heat reaches your body temperature, the fans actually don't do a whole lot anymore. Usually when you're sweating and a fan is pointed at you, the sweat is supposed to evaporate and in turn cool you down.
Guess you can't really cool down when it's hotter outside your body than inside. The only solution is to actually get something cold. Ice cream, cold drinks/foods, foot bath, a whole cold bath, anything. You need actual cold input from outside. Oh, and don't do too much, just relax.

@trinsec Well, at least the humidity is not high. So I can cool a bit with a wet towel. But starting from next month, when the rain season starts, that will be another story. Hopefully I can figure out the door unit before that.

BTW, I also tried menthol dissolved into 60% alcohol, although it doesn't help cooling the body, but it can trick the skin and get a feel of coolness.

@skyblond@qoto.org Oh gods yes, high humidity is killing. That's why if we would get 35+C here, it'll be killing too. Our climate simply isn't meant to be this hot. Thankfully we don't have a thing like "the rain season" here. Still, too hot. -.-

Go figure out the door unit!
