@klillington It is indeed frightening. Especially since it happened almost two months to the day that we lost his brother - which was unexpected and extremely hard on me and I imagine him as well. Ever since Buster died he has been much more clingy with me - which made him being separated from me in the hospital all the worse for him. The vet reported he was very anxious and would not let them perform any of the procedures that needed to be done. He ultimately needed to be sedated - which itself is scary as he also has a mid-grade heart murmur.
