The Texas Department of Transportation calls this the "No Zone" but honestly this is a lot more metal
@mcc both French and German use those quite graphic terms.
The German word is "toter Winkel", but keep in mind that this "tot" is interpreted as a blind spot, *not* as it literally killing you.
