@deutrino I don't get all the hate for gimp. It even works well on my phone. I'm not some crazy heavy photo editor but it runs fast (once it's done loading all its plugins) and works well and the UI is intuitive enough.
@swiley I started on Photoshop and if you do that you're kinda ruined for life because the gimp keyboard shortcuts and tool UX somehow manage to be pretty consistently higher friction
I actually haven't used Photoshop in many years at this point and I still miss it despite GIMP doing nearly all I need in a raster editor.
