One good thing about living in a poor community – people can't afford to buy much fireworks, so we had a relatively calm night.
@szescstopni@qoto.org Well, I've noticed that it's usually the 'poor people' around here who buy their life savings worth of fireworks for their one night of blasting fame.
Kinda one of the reasons they stay poor.

@szescstopni also more people in the countryside have dogs and they know how animals react to fireworks
@Toive8547 Where I live people usually don't care about dogs. They think we're crazy for taking in that injured dog and trying to find her old humans, or her new humans.
@szescstopni w ogóle, ja jakoś większość wcześniejszych nowych roków spędzałem chyba na odludziach, w tym roku w mieście, od 21 do 1 ciągle coś waliło, syn mi się bał :(
