From what you all have show me already, I do not think I have much insight to add for this first lesson.
Over the course of the week I would like you to do the exercises in videos in the linked pages (4th paragraph). There are 6 of them and they add up to about 20 minutes.
I will schedule sever other assignments to be posted throughout the week.
Some vocabulary, just because

네 -- Yeah, ok, yes
아니요 -- No
안녕하세요 -- 안녕 (health, well-being) + 하세요 (you do (polite imperative), please do, do you?) = Hello
감사합니다 -- 감사 (gratitude) + 합니다 (I do, I am doing) = Thank you
죄송합니다 -- 죄송 (apology, feeling sorry or ashamed) + 합니다 (I do, I am doing) = I'm sorry as in "I apologize," not as in "That sucks, I'm sorry"
산생님 -- Teacher (me)
이 -- This, as in "this one here." Think of the French suffix "-ci"
그 -- That, as in "that one by you." The generic "that." Think of the French "là."
지 -- That, as in "that one over there." Used to indicate something distant from both speaker and hearer. Think of the French "la-bas":

"겨울" means winter and really sounds like it could be a name for the underworld.
"붐" means spring (the season) like in 박붐 of 2NE1 fame
The word for autumn isn't as cool.
I looked these up because the word for summer, "여름," is really fun to say.

i love the compound words like 물 (water) 고기 (meat) = 물고기 (fish)

박쥐 (derived from "밝" bright ≃ bright eyed rat) > bat 🦇
다람쥐 (derived from "달리다" to run = fast rat) > squirrel 🐿️

You don't have to apologize for doing extra work. However for my own education, can you tell me what that second character in Momo's family name is? I have seen that consonant scribbled like that before but am not sure what it is. Is it "ㄹ"?
Also: good strategy picking a song I will be too busy bopping out to to check your work carefully!

"아니요" and "네" were the first Korean words I learned from the dramas. I would have bet anything that they were written "안요" (two sylables) and "데."
