@jalcine I roll my eyes at people who blame technology for what people do with it. Do you blame cameras when abusers take images with it? Or are you starting to see the absurdity of the stance that this is somehow different?
It really isn't. It's always down to what people do with it and generally speaking, the same laws apply to AI use - or rather, its users. AI is a tool and only poor, dim workmen blame the tools for the outcome.
@radiojammor @jalcine Dude, just use the "guns don't kill people" argument instead. It's would är least show your understood the shape of the tool while you've never considered nor cared for potential risks and harm.

As for risks and harm, perhaps you should take that ire and point it at actual, physical gun use instead. Pretty sure AI hasn't killed or harmed as many people as those wielding actual, physical weapons.

As you are loudly and proudly shouting "I am covering my eyes" I seriously doubt you have any grasp of the shape of the tool you use.
This is further evidenced by the fact you call yourself "AI user", using the utterly vacuous term "AI" to make a show of your credentials.... like dude, so what? We all have YouTube accounts that make automatic shitty recommendations for us, being an AI user is no big lift.

@tobychev @Mabande @jalcine The term may indeed be vacuous, but so is your point. That is what people have chosen to call it. That is its given name and that is why I use it. It makes no difference whatsoever to the points I make. AI, or whatever term you prefer, is as good or as bad as the person using it.
You don't ban or remove it in its entirety because of the actions of bad actors. You punish the bad actors. Let people who use it properly and legally continue to do so.
