It is remarkable that 190 years after Clausewitz's On War declared that 'war is politics by other means', contemporary analysis of the war in Ukraine still acutely feel the need to repeat this lesson.
In https://muse.jhu.edu/pub/1/oa_edited_volume/chapter/3881920 Kofman writes:
> Fourth, this war reinforces that military strategy remains political in nature, where political considerations and assumptions often tend to reign supreme over military logic and a rationalized view of war that often stems from military sciences.
Which to me raises the question: what forces in #military debate are actively hiding celebrated insights that are almost 200 years old?
