@jon An #crossborderail story/question: my parents want to go from Manheim to Paris today with interrail, but they can't find a way to do it in a timely manner as they are unable to get the mandatory seat reservations for the French bit.

Is there a way to know if this is simply bad luck that everything they look at is full, or is this another SNCF success story?
