Cross-posting between Twitter and Mastodon is strange. The more I see a cross-post, the more I understand that there are two different audiences here.

@aleixmorgadas To me it feels like Mastadon skews way more to a techy crowd.
Having said that I've joined a STEM instance and mostly following techy folks so it could be / probably is selection bias.
I'd be curious to see how being on different instances changes the overall experience. It's easy to think of Mastadon as a single place but it isn't. 🤔
