I gave Kards - The WWII Card Game a try. I managed to unlock all the starter decks (as Germany) so I could see what the setup of the game was like; Free-to-play card battle game where you can spend real coin (and limited in-game gold) for new packs.

Likely you'll have to spend real moneys in order to advance after a certain point, I've seen that a bit too often in other free-to-play games. (Stormbound comes to mind.. gods that game was FUN but you'd need to pay a LOT to advance!)

The trouble with those free-to-play games is that they usually ask way too much for the experience. Additionally, the gameplay of this game is pretty yawn-worthy so it isn't even remotely worth contemplating spending money on.

The theme's nice, graphics are nice, but the actual gameplay is so. boring. Guess that's why they're temporarily offering the Starter Pack DLC with a 100% discount. At least you can try this for free.
